After being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in 2011, Jillian quickly realized proper nourishment played a pivotal role in her disease management. This revelation, combined with her love of cooking, led Jillian to pursue a Culinary Management - Nutrition diploma at George Brown College.
With 12 years of industry experience, Jillian has worn many ‘hats’; cooking for and with individuals living with chronic illness such as cancer , facilitating nutrition workshops, and teaching culinary classes. She has also led teams in catering multi-course fine and casual dining experiences, cooked as a private chef, and mastered techniques in cooking an array of international cuisines. Now, she’s honing her skills and experience to bring people and food together in a different way.

As a private chef’s working space is usually within your home, we are personally dedicated to finding the perfect combination of expertise, professionalism and nutritional knowledge. After discussing your individual needs, we will present you with a hand-picked, short list of chefs. They will then have an opportunity to meet you and showcase their skills. To limit your investment risk, we offer a 60-day service guarantee.
A private chef must be service oriented, quick on their feet and able to quickly adapt to the varying needs of their clients.
